How web hosting so cheap?
I'm looking to have my own dedicated website and I was pleasantly surprised that I can buy two years of accommodation to around 3 gigabytes of space for the equivalent of about £ 1.30 per month, including one free. Com domain registration. I wondered how companies can offer these services so cheap. They say they have no job ads and there is no additional costs involved, then how can they afford to charge lower rates, so where's the catch? For two years I'm looking at just over £ 25 for two years hosting and even if I doubled the space required and the band bandwidth, the cost increases only about 60%. I know that the server units of terabytes of detail only a few hundred pounds today but they still have significant overhead to consider.
If you only need 3 gigabytes of space you can get even less They are expensive http://www.hosttell.com/one one of the leading European hosting companies (hosting over 500,000 websites), and they currently have a promotion in the United Kingdom.
